This is the deepest (& most rural) I’ve gone to in China and this trip brings me to the Yao Minority Tribe up on the Longsheng mountains in Guilin, Guangxi. This tribe is well known for their impossibly long hair and we had the chance to watch their very fascinating performance and how a typical wedding in their culture is done. Some parts were kinda bizarre (dancing with a portion of your cut off hair?!) but strangely kept me glued to the show since it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
